Number of cars required

Kit with Body/chassis/bogie components to make a 4mm scale model of a Waterloo & City trailer car. Designed for operating with our Waterloo & City driving motor bogie,4 x 10.5mm diameter wheels on a 26mm axle over pinpoints required for the 2 trailing bogies of these cars.

Designed by O VS Bulleid, these trains entered service on the Waterloo and City line in 1940. In peak hours the trains ran with a Driving motor either end of three trailer cars.

Underframe and bogies should not require any post treatment after the normal sprue removal work.

Joins between ends and body are a neat fit, but some filling will be necessary to avoid join lines. The body will then need a rub over with 320 grit then 400 dry abrade wet and dry and a final finish with 400 grit wet. Cyanoacrylate with a 'kicker' (accelerant) is this best adhesive for £3D printer resin, in our opinion.

The amount of prep before painting will depend on how you set up the support structure, your print settings and your printers resolution. Prints from our Elegoo 16K Saturn Ultra printers with ABS-like resin need minimal prep to get a 'printing lines' free model.
