Southern Region 2 Car Deicing unit (rebuilt 4 sub DMSO)

Preorder now, scheduled for printing and despatch end of October. Despatch will be prioritised in order that preorders are received. A 20% deposit will be taken when you place your order with the balance payment due when we are ready to ship.

Kit with Body/chassis/bogie components to make a 4mm scale model of Southern Region deicing unit 011. Designed for motorising with a Hornby 2Hal/Bil motor bogie (not supplied).

Dummy motor bogie and trailing bogies will require 6x 14mm diameter, 26mm over pinpoint axles. The bogie frames are designed to take waisted pin point bearings 

Bodies come in two parts and will require joining, so this kit is not suitable for the less experienced modeller.

Underframe and bogies should not require any post treatment after the normal sprue removal work.

Joins between ends and body are a neat fit, but filling and sanding will need to be done to all joints to get a blemish free model ready for priming.  The body will then need a rub over with 320 grit then 400 dry abrade wet and dry and a final finish with 400 grit wet, . 

Prints from our Elegoo 16K Saturn Ultra printers with ABS-like resin need minimal prep to get a 'printing lines' free model.
