Southern Railway substation 00/EM/P4 PRINTED MODE

Rendered type as built for the Portsmouth 1 and 2 electrifications. This is a model of the larger type used on the South Western mainline.

Model size 293mm x 89mm x 83mm high.

You will need:

• a razor saw, to cut off printing spacers
• scalpel and blades
• 320 grit wet and dry paper
• Medium viscosity cyanoacrylate (superglue)
• Cyanoacrylate kicker (not essential but we find it helps to speed up superglue set on large joints)
• Straight edge.
• A cup of boiling water to straighten any smaller parts that may have warped slightly as they continue to cure for a few days after printing (the gutters are the main offenders - but they are quite fine details and look good when you take your time fitting them).
